Video Description
The twins of Paul "Muad'dib" Atreides, Leto II and Ghanima, become embroiled in the political landscape of Arrakis ("Dune") and the rest of the universe. As they grow, their lives are threatened by the rule of Paul's increasingly unstable sister, Alia, as well as from Princess Wensicia of the deposed House Corrino, the Bene Gesserit sisterhood, and the Spacing Guild. With the fate of the Empire at stake, Paul realizes its one great hope is an heir who can lead humanity down the "Golden Path" to enlightenment. A continuation of the Emmy Award-winning six-hour epic Frank Herbert's Dune, Children of Dune is adapted from Dune Messiah and Children of Dune, the second and third novels, respectively, of Frank Herbert's six-book Dune Chronicles. Frank Herbert's Children of Dune marks the first time that either book has been adapted for the large or small screen. Written and directed by John Harrison, the epic features a stellar ensemble cast that includes Academy Award? winner Susan Sarandon as the deliciously evil Princess Wensicia, Alice Krige, Edward Atterton, Steven Berkoff, and newcomers Daniela Amavia, Jamex McAvoy, and Jessica Brooks. Reprising their roles from the first miniseries are Alec Newman as Paul, Barbara Kodetova as Chani, Julie Cox as Princess Irulan, and P.H. Moriarty as Gurney Halleck.

Czyżby kontynuacja miniserialu dune?
