Jeżeli zadzwoni jakiś palant, że wygrałeś cosik (przeważnie exkluzywną wycieczkę) i w dodatku poprosi o naciśnięcie 9, żeby potwierdzić wiadomość i jeżeli to zrobisz, to jesteś uwalony w gównie po uszy.
Łączność z tą linią kosztuje 20 funciaków za minutę. Nawet jak
natychmiastowo rzucisz słuchawką na widły, to dużo to nie da, bo rozłączy cię za 5 minut. (w sumie 100 funtów). Ale jeżeli dałeś się zrobić w balona i nawet dałeś im swoje dane (nr.tel, adres itd.)to możesz już iść strzelić sobie w łeb, bo po następnych 2 minutach dostaniesz oczywiste potwierdzenie, że nie wygrałeś. (koszty zwiększyły się do 260 funciaków). Jedyne co można zrobić, to natychmiast po odebraniu takiej rozmowy, że wygrałeś, ble, ble .... to się rozłączyć. I to w tempie błyskawicznym. Jeszcze jedno. Może ktoś zadzwonić podając się za technika z np. TePSy i poprosić o potwierdzenie naciśnięciem 9, że "linia działa". Wtedy jesteś tak samo ugotowany jak ten wyżej. Podobnie z komórkowcami.
Nigdy nie naciskać 9 lub 9,0# lub 0,9#. Przeważnie numer dzwoniący to:
0709 020 3840. Może się różnić ostatnimi 4 cyframi. Pojawia się jako "nieodebrane". Nie oddzwaniać, bo to kosztuje 50 funtów za minutkę.
Ponieważ w Anglii ten proceder jest nielegalny (już), to farmazony - przekręty przeniosły się do innych krajów, gdzie jest to dopuszczalne, więc...... nie gadać z kimś, kto wciska Ci kit, że coś wygrałeś ...Adam - IMHO fake. , Mms 30/11/04 20:00

- This is only viable on a very badly configured business telephone system(called a switch). Domestic lines would not be affected by anything like this. Its aimed at the ability to transfer calls - and in the UK most businesses use # before the number to transfer a call and not the other way around. You would also need to type a further telephone number to dial out - as that is what they are trying to do. Effectively trick you into dialing a premium rate number. Dialling 9 alone will not work - although I cant speak for the USA as I have never configured a USA telephone system.

A Missed Call comes up. The number is 0709 020 3840. The last four numbers may vary but certainly the first four numbers will remain the same. If you call this number back, you will be charged £50 per minute.
- Incorrect - 07092 is a valid telephone number in the uk - and costs between 5p and 25p(I think). Businesses use them as whats known as anywhere numbers - numbers that you can divert to any phone by yourself. If you change your mobile simply divert the number to your new phone They are pretty cool

Dzwonił do mnie taki automat - niby kobiecy głos ale automat i właśnie chciał abym coś wciskał - oczywiście tego typu oferty olewam na wjeździe ale TO NIE FAKE - to na prawdę dzwoniło do mnie i chciało abym coś wcisnął.... kooorwa dopiero teraz skojarzyłem - zeszły czwartek albo piątek....Tom Drwal
