Co prawda na stronie Winamp.com nadal jest informacja o wersji 5.03 odtwarzacza Winamp, jednak na oficjalnym serwerze pod dłuższej przerwie można już pobrać wersje 5.04 full (4.35 MB). Winamp w wersji piątej posiada wiele nowości w porównaniu z wersjami 2.xx i 3.xx. Dostępna jest nowa skórka "Modern", którą można dodatkowo modyfikować, mocno rozbudowano "media library", dodano wsparcie nagrywania i ripowania CD i wiele, wiele nowych funkcji. to miłe... (autor: beef | data: 29/07/04 | godz.: 00:00) ...że chłopaki cały czas pracują nad programem i to w celu poprawy błędów a nie dodawania nowych funkcji :) Kawał porządnie napisanege softu. Na mojej prywatnej liście obok TotalCommandera jeden z "esenszyls" jak mawiają Amerykanie, niezagrożony od wielu lat.
